Strawberry Protein Bars THM FP/S, Sugar-free, Gluten-free, Keto

Protein Bars! Have you ever wished you could buy a protein bar that didn’t have sugar in it? Did you know you can make these easily at home? I love to have protein bars on hand for when I have to be away from home for a few hours or traveling. Here is a Strawberry Protein bar that is sugar free and full of healthy goodness.

Trim Healthy Mama has a Chocolate Brownie Fix that is absolutely delicious! This bar is a Fuel Pull and I love its chocolate/peanut butter taste. When my supply is all and I want a protein bar….I make my own. Trim Healthy Mama is working on a Strawberry Baobab Protein Bar, but if you are like me and need a strawberry fix, try these bars.

I do keep my bars in the fridge wrapped in wax paper in a airtight container. When I leave home I put them in a small cooler bag along with any drinks I carry with me.

Strawberry Protein Bars THM FP or S

  • 1 cup THM Strawberry Whey Protein Powder
  • 5 tablespoons THM Collagen
  • 3 tablespoons Oat Fiber
  • 2 tablespoons THM Baobab Powder
  • 1/4 cup THM Gentle Sweet
  • 1/8 teaspoon Mineral salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Gluccie or Xanthan Gum
  • 1/4 teaspoon THM Cherry Burst Extract
  • 1 teaspoon MCT oil
  • 5 tablespoons water
  • White Chocolate Chips, ChocZero* or Bake Believe , optional
  • Pampered Chef Bar Maker
  • In a Food processor bowl or mixer bowl combine dry ingredients together. Add extract, MCT oil and 4 tablespoons water. Mix well. Add remaining water if needed to make the mixture like a stiff play dough. Place 5 chocolate chips in each bar mold, if desired. Press mixture into 7 bars. Refrigerate. 7 THM FP Bars
  • To make a THM S Bars use 1 1/2 tablespoons MCT oil, 1 tablespoon Chia Seeds, 3 tablespoons chocolate chips and reduce the water to 4 1/2 tablespoons. This will make 8 bars. 8 THM S Bars
  • ChocZero White Chocolate Chips are a personal choice item since they do have soluble vegetable fiber in them.

I mix the ingredients in my Ninja Food Processor. Mixing it well, until it is crumbly and looks like this.

The mixture will resemble stiff play dough. Take the crumbles and press them into the bar forms. The tighter you press them the harder the bars will be. I did find that the bars with chocolate chips need to be pressed harder than the one without.

I bought this Pampered Chef Bar Maker when a friend was having a party. I love it. It is handy to make all kinds of bars for lunches, etc. There are multiple bar makers you can find in stores and on Amazon. How many bars this recipe makes will depend on the size of your bar maker.

These bars made with Chia seeds and white chocolate chips are an S/fats bar. They have MCT oil, Chia seeds, and the chocolate chips for healthy fats.

A time or two the bars got a little tacky/sticky after storing a few days. I dusted the bars lightly with oat fiber. That worked great!

  1. I am making these today! I just got my pampered chef bar pan and can’t wait to make these! Thank you…

  2. Ummmm, yes ma’am!!! These were awesome! I changed the cherry extract for banana! I am thinking about changing the strawberry protein to chocolate and changing the extract to peanut butter extract for a little change up!

  4. Is there any way to substitute for the strawberry Protein powder? I have so many specialty products in my cupboard already. (Several of our children have Celiac Disease, so we have many alternative products for that, plus I have a lot of the THM stuff.) Help, my cupboards are too full! Could I use a unflavored protein powder, extra sweetner, and some extract. Or should I consider grinding up freeze-dried strawberries? These sound so delicious!

    • Use regular protein powder and substitute some of the water for strawberry extract. You ma need just a bit more sweetener.
