Chicken Wings are a favorite party food. The easiest way to prepare wings is by air-frying. After they are air-fried they can be tossed with your preferred sauce. Although Buffalo Sauce is very popular sometimes you don’t want all the heat/spice. One of our favorites is Garlic Parmesan Wings. The buttery garlic Parmesan sauce is just so good on crisp wings.
Garlic is grown in our area as a cash crop because the deer won’t eat it. That means there is fresh home-grown garlic available all year around. That is the best but you can also use prepared minced garlic for convenience. A dear friend gives me as much of the small or deformed garlic bulbs that I want. Pictured below is German Red.
Preparing the wings: Place the wing pieces in a bowl. Add the garlic, salt, pepper, and oil. Toss to coat. Refrigerate for 2-4 hours.
Air-frying wings: Place a single layer of wings in the air-fryer basket. Fry for 10-12 minutes at 390 degrees. Internal temperature of the wings should be 165 degrees.
Place wings in a baking dish. Repeat air-frying as needed until all the wings are fried. Prepare butter sauce and toss with wings.
Just before serving, sprinkle with extra Parmesan Cheese. Serve.
