I graduated to trying to make bread today with your Honey Oat recipe (your family favorite). I realized after it was done kneading in my Bosch that it was really lacking flour so I added another cup warily. After the first rising, I thought it still sticky (although better) but realized I just don’t know about how sourdough should FEEL.
I’m a longtime yeast baker. Should sourdough FEEL like yeast-bread dough or stickier? Now it is raising in pans but I could not really shape the loaves like I like to since the dough was so sticky. Should I have added flour to shape them nicely? HELP!!!!

I ordered your cookbook with the sourdough starter. The ad says “you will receive the cookbook and a small jar of sourdough starter”. I did receive the cookbook, which is full of lots of recipes, but the small jar was a tiny plastic bag, that might have held a teaspoon full. I think you need to change your ad, as the definition is somewhat misleading. Disappointed with the starter!
I have changed the packaging due to USPS breaking so many jars for me. Each package has 1 tablespoon of starter in it.
Is the starter that comes with the cookbook, mature starter? Or do we still need to feed it for the 21 days before we use it?
It is mature and can be feed 2-3 times ad it will be ready for bread.
I ordered a starter and the cookbook. Today I received my order which didn’t have a cookbook but had 2 starters ? Are they mailed separately ?

Hi I just received your cookbook, but am not sure I received a 4th printing copy, looks like it may be a 3rd printing? I ordered the book because it said it was updated. Do you have a list of corrections?
The 3rd printing has been corrected except for page 61 where the sweetener is listed twice in the frosting.
