Tropical Energy Drink, THM FP

I love this drink for an energy pickup in the afternoons. It has all the taste of tropical fruits in one drink. I will measure the ingredient into small 4 ounce jars and store them in the fridge. They are so handy to grab and make a drink when you want one.

Tropical Drink

I find drinks are an important to keep me from snacking when I really don’t need more food. I love the combination of this drink and the flavors mask the taste of the tumeric if you have trouble likely that flavor.

Trim Healthy Mama has come out with extracts that are so good. The flavor is superb to other. Coconut , Pineapple, and Apricot Extracts are some of my favorites to use in drinks. Try these extracts–you won’t be disappointed!!

Ginger Juice and Turmeric Juice can be bought already pressed for those who need a quick option. Amazon does carry a number of products to choose from.

*I blend 8 ounces of ginger or turmeric with 1 1/4 cups water. Pour into a cheesecloth lined strainer. Allow to drain. Gather up the sides of the cloth and squeeze to extract all the juice. Discard pulp.  Freeze in ice-cube trays. Use 1 cube per drink. I keep containers of ginger cubes and turmeric cubes in my freezer all the time. **turmeric will stain utensils and counters.

**I measure all the ingredients except the water into small jars and store in the fridge for a quick drink.
