Cheesecakes have always been a favorite dessert of mine to make for holidays and birthday celebrations. This year I have combined two of my favorites……Pecan Pie and Cheesecake all in one dessert. The flavor is out of this world!!!

Christmas is just around the corner and who doesn’t like candy? Where we live there is a local candy factory that has wonderful chocolates but they are loaded with sugar! These Salted Caramel Chocolates are just perfect and best of all they are sugar-free.

You just can’t go wrong when you pair peanut butter and chocolate together, and in a pie, what could be better!! Peanut Butter Pie has always been a favorite at this house and I’m sure it will be at your house, too!

Eggs are our favorite breakfast foods. As a young child, my mother often made Egg-in-the-Nest for us. These were made with a slice of bread and an egg. This recipe give a different twist to that old time favorite with a version that is gluten-free and tastes wonderful!

Angel Food Cakes are a delicious fluffy light dessert to add to any meal. These cakes are primarily made with egg whites, flour, and sugar. Fall brings with it a harvest of winter squash and pumpkins. One of our favorite winter squash is the humble butternut squash. We love these roasted and eaten with butter and salt like a potato and if you have any leftover they can be made into this delicious bisque. This bisque is the perfect bend of sweet and spice for cool fall weather.

Warm, gooey, sticky buns, add a cup of coffee and you are all set for a delicious treat! If you are craving sticky buns that are guilt free…these are just for you.

Low Country Boil is a quick and easy one-dish to prepare. This simple dish can also called Frogmore Stew. What could be better than potatoes, corn, and onions from your garden added to this boil. Have your children husk the corn, scrub the potatoes, and dinner will be served in a jiffy. Better yet, lay newspaper on a picnic table, boil the stew outside over a campfire, drain, pour the boil down the center of the table, and you have an easy cleanup!
