Top Recipes in 2019

Looking back over my blog recipes in 2019 has been interesting. My readers’ favorite recipe is the No-Knead Whole Wheat Sourdough Bread! This recipe is made in varying forms a few times a week at our house. It is so easy that even my 11 year old will mix it for me.

No-knead White Whole Wheat Sourdough Bread 1st place

No-knead White Whole Wheat Sourdough Bread

As many of you know sourdough baking is my love. There is something fascinating about taking a bubbling starter and making delicious breads, bagels, pizza crust, cinnamon rolls, and so much more.

My starter lives on my counter top most days as I keep feeding it so I can continue my love of baking. Many loaves, bagels, ect have been given as gifts to family, friends, and coworkers.

I do gift small jars of starter to people. I just ordered a 600+ case of jars–anyone want to gues how long that will last. At this time I have sent well over 1700 jars of starter to people from that little jar on my counter.

Chocolate Raspberry Truffles–2nd place

Raspberry Truffles

When this recipe posted on my blog—it was a big hit with people. It rapidly climbed to second place in a few days. My family loves this candy. It don’t make it often as it disappears to quickly. With Valentine’s day coming right up it will be on my list of recipes to make.

The ‘new’ Bake Believe Chocolate chips are wonderful or so my family says. I use them for all my baking needs. The white chips have a low melting point so they are best added in the last fe wmintes of baking or after the item is baked.

Sourdough Cinnamon Rolls — 3rd place

Everyone likes a warm cinnamon roll! This dough can be mixed a few days before you want to make them. I ferment the dough in the fridge. When I want to make the rolls…I remove the dough from the fridge, and shape them right away. It is much easier working with cold dough than room temperature dough.
