We, as mothers often find ourselves with too much to do and not enough of time to take care of ourselves. Teas and drinks help to keep me from snacking but they do take time to prepare. Here is an easy way to have oolong tea ready at your fingertips. I find that when I have these small jars of concentrate in my fridge, I drink much more. My youngest daughter can put the ingredients in the jars and even fill them with hot water using the Keurig. I hope this handy tip will help you in the busyness of life.
Christmas Holiday is a time for giving gifts just like God gave the greatest gift to us, Jesus! Our family loves to give gifts to our neighbors like this fruit filled wreath. My regular recipe was filled with so much sugar so I decided to try a sugar-free one. I used my favorite Sourdough Cinnamon Rolls recipe with a few modifications. Polaner All Fruit Spread was an easy fruit filling to use. This recipe makes 2 wreaths–1 to share and 1 to serve to your guests!
Honey Oat Bread has always been a favorite of mine. No-knead breads top my list of favorites because they are so easy to mix up using a spoon or spatula. I just had to combine the best of two into one recipe. Meet the newest addition to my No-knead family–Honey Oat! I mixed a bit of Kerry Gold Butter and honey (from hives my brother has) together for my family to enjoy with the bread. Needless to say the loaves soon vanished!
Cranberry Orange Cinnamon Rolls are a new favorite at our house. These two flavors combined together bring a seasonal twist to the traditional cinnamon roll. The perfect blend of tart and sweet come together to make these rolls perfect for Christmas breakfast or brunch.
Cheesecakes are always so special to serve for holidays meals. These No-bake White Chocolate Cheesecakes are easy to make. Best of all they only takes a few ingredients. These creamy cheesecakes will fool everyone in believing they full of sugar when they are not.
As you all know by now—-sourdough baking is so intriguing for me. There is something fascinating taking flour, water, salt, and vital wheat gluten to make a lovely loaf of bread. Right now–my days don’t have enough of hours in them to do everything I want too. This loaf was made using spelt flour. Isn’t it gorgeous?
A warm coffee cake with a cup of coffee–why of course you can! This Coffee Cake uses unfed sourdough starter in the batter which gives a delicious flavor and texture. Serve this cake with Vanilla Syrup for a delicious THM E.
Have you ever wondered what to do with stale or loaves of bread that did not turnout right? Have you ever tried bread pudding? Bread pudding is an old fashioned dessert that our grandmas used to make. It was a handy way to use up those stale bits of bread and turn them into a delicious dessert.
