Ingredients

  • 4 4- ounce bars Bake Believe Chocolate or ChocZero Chocolate Chips
  • Breakable Heart Mold
  • Lily's Chocolates Smart Sweets, or any kind of sugar-free chocolates.
  • decorating sugars or flowers...these are hard to find sugar-free so I used Wilton Brand

Instructions

  1. Prepare the form: I put crinkled paper into a bowl to hold the form. Melting the chocolate: *In a microwavable bowl, melt 8 ounces of chocolate. I microwave it 75 seconds, in 15 second intervals, stirring well between each time. Pour 3/4 of the melted chocolate into the heart form. Brush with a pastry brush until the entire form is coated, adding more chocolate if needed. Place mold in a cold spot, like the fridge or outside like I did. (we had 6 degrees weather). When it is hardened, add a layer if chocolate around the edge to thicken the edge. Place in a cold spot to harden. Carefully peel the silicon mold off of the chocolate shell. Repeat from the * to make another shell but allow this shell to remain in the mold. Filling the heart: Combine the candy you want to place into the heart. I used all kinds of sugar-free chocolates and other candies. Putting the hearts together: Heat a glass plate until warm. Put plastic gloves on your hands so you dont get any finger prints on the chocolate. Take a heart shell, rub the shell edge on the plate to melt the edge flat. Fill the shell will your candies and chocolate covered strawberries. Take the remaining heart shell, rub the shell edge on the plate to melt the edge flat. Place the shell over the other shell, and press lightly so that the edges adhere. Decorate the top of the heart as desired.
