Mixing: In a mixer bowl combine the flour, butter, baking powder, and salt. Mix until crumbly. Add 3/4 cup kefir. Mix again. Add the additional tablespoon of kefir if needed. The dough should clump together around the mixer beater.
Red Lobster Biscuits: add 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, and 3/4 teaspoon parsley along with the flour. Follow remaining instructions. Remve biscuits from the oven and brushed with melted butter that has garlic added to it.
