Buttered Noodles with Saffron, THM S

Ingredients

  • 5 cups fat-free chicken broth
  • 1/4 teaspoon saffron strands
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 box Dreamfield Linguine uncooked
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons crushed Wasa Crackers or pecan meal

Instructions

  1. Bring broth, saffron, and salt to a boil in a 3 quart kettle. Add Dreamfield Pasta. Cook for 6 minutes. Remove from heat. Drain. In a skillet, melt butter. Cook until golden brown. Add crushed wasa crackers OR pecan meal. Place noodles in a serving dish. Spoon buttered crumbs over noodles. Serves 8-10.
