  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar Sweetener Substitute
  • 1/2 cup rye flour
  • 1/4 cup sprouted flour
  • 1/4 cup oat flour
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 7/8 cup boiling water
  • 2/3 cup sugar-free syrup ChocZero Maple,
  • 2 teaspoons Blackstrap Molasses
  • 1 egg plus 1 egg yolk
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 unbaked sourdough pie crust


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a mixer bowl, mix together sweetener, flours, and butter until crumbly. Remove 1/2 cup crumbs from your mixer bowl. Set aside. Add the boiling water, syrup, and molasses to your mixer bowl. Mix well. Beat egg and egg yolk together. Add to the mixer bowl along with the baking soda. Mix again until thoroughly combined. Make sure your pie crust does not have any cracks or tiny holes in it. If it does your liquid will seep under the crust. Pour the liquid part into the pie crust. Sprinkle the crumbs evenly over the top of the liquid. Place pie in the center rack in your oven. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until center is set. Cool. Serves 8.
