Vanilla Oolong Tea Concentrate THM-FP

We, as mothers often find ourselves with too much to do and not enough of time to take care of ourselves. Teas and drinks help to keep me from snacking but they do take time to prepare. Here is an easy way to have oolong tea ready at your fingertips. I find that when I have these small jars of concentrate in my fridge, I drink much more. My youngest daughter can put the ingredients in the jars and even fill them with hot water using the Keurig. I hope this handy tip will help you in the busyness of life.

Place tea bag, cinnamon, hot sauce, vanilla, and sweetener in the jar. Fill with boiling water. I use my Keurig and the 8 ounce selections works perfect. Add lid and ring. Turn jar upside for 10 minutes. Turn jar right side up and allow to cool until room temperature. The jar will seal. Store in the refrigerator. Repeat for as many jars as your prefer. They will keep for weeks when stored in the fridge.

To serve: Open tea concentrate and pour through a strainer into a quart jar. For Iced Tea: add 1/2 cup almond milk, 1 tablespoon half and half, water, and ice to fill jar. 1 serving. For Hot Tea: Heat all ingredients in a small kettle or microwave.

* 1 tablespoon of collagen may be added for protein. The reason I use Hot Sauce and Cinnamon sticks is because I dislike gritty drinks.

I fill a number of jars at a time.
8 ounce of hot water from the Keurig is just perfect.
Jars sealing.
